International Student Outreach
Body
Through workshops, academic series, and having a bi-weekly International Student Circle, the International Student Outreach Team fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment while
promoting cross-cultural understanding and integration within the university community.
Examples of Our Outreach Activities
The International Student Outreach (ISO) team engages in a variety of activities aimed at
supporting and informing international students throughout the academic year. This includes:
- Organizing academic series that addresses important topics such as managing anxiety and maintaining motivation during exam periods.
- Collaborating with other campus organizations, such as the Global Engagement and Leadership (GEL) to provide informational sessions tailored to international students' needs, such as understanding tipping culture in the United States.
- Providing resources to help international students integrate into campus life and succeed academically such as at International Student Outreach Circle, where students are welcomed to ask any questions they may have about varying topics and meet other international students.
