Type of Position:
25% to 33% graduate assistantship, 9 months, beginning Fall 2012. There may be an opportunity for additional summer hourly employment, depending on need. This position is a pre-professional activity for students in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or Community Health.

With great sadness we announce that Susan Kenyon Herbert passed away Friday, December 16, 2011.

This is a huge loss for our Center and the entire campus community. In addition to her work in our Reading and Study Skills Program, she contributed as a key member of our Diversity Conference Planning Committee, served as the advisor to Alpha Lambda Delta, and worked in several other service organizations. She was very dedicated to her family and friends and would do anything she could to help someone. We have lost someone who truly had a heart of gold. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Susan graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master’s Degree in Education in 1975. She has worked at the U of I for 35 years as the Coordinator of Academic Skills Programs.
